PLEASE READ. BY BOOKING A TRAINING SESSION WITH HSRC YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE CLUBS AND CENTRES COVID 19 PROCEDURES. IF YOU SHOW ANY SYMPTONS KNOWN TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH COVID 19 DO NOT ATTEND A TRAINING SESSION AND IT IS ADVISED THAT A TEST IS OBTAINED ASAP.
The Snow centre and the Committee have been working hard to maintain our training sessions, and though lockdown measures easing we must remain vigilant and responsible in following the guidelines issued.
As a club it is important that we follow the rules on social distancing and hygiene; if we do not do this we may be forced to close again. We ask you to please cooperate with centre staff and club officials regarding hand sanitising and flow through the centre.
Below you will find a list of rules which must be adhered to for your wellbeing and that of others. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ ALL OF THE RULES. We will be operating under new circumstances and therefore please be prepared to adapt as we run sessions over the coming weeks. Please also be aware that changes may occur due to changing guidelines issued by SSE and the government.
General rules
· Face coverings must be worn in The Snow centre and on the snow. A neck snood (pulled up) is acceptable and perhaps easiest on snow.
· Temperature will be taken upon arrival at check in and if you have a temperature equal to or greater than 37.6 you will be asked to leave. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A SESSION IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS.
· Only 1 adult (if possible) to accompany a child into the centre. No siblings in the boot room though they can wait in the lodge upstairs.
· Children aged 12 and under must have an adult/appropriate guardian present in the centre.
· Please do not enter the centre more than 15 min before your session starts unless ordering food in the lodge..
· Arrive at The Snow centre dressed to ski including boots, gloves, helmets can be put on in boot room.
· All kit bags to be left in the car but if brought into the centre will be placed in the lockers, these are free to use and use a four-digit code to lock. Therefore, please make sure your kit bags hold only necessary items as the lockers are not huge.
· The lodge is open upstairs and tea and coffee can be purchased from here for TAKEAWAY ONLY. No food or rink t be consumed in the centre building (government rules).. Again, club members and those accompanying them are asked to wear masks throughout the centre. Table service only for takeaway.
· · Check in on the ground floor, where your temperature will be taken.
· Proceed up to the boot room to collect equipment if needed and to boot up. Wait to be called onto the snow. Entry onto the Snow is via the right-hand doors.
· We will still run two sessions, 1800h - 1915h and 1930h - 2100h
· Groups will be set by us and you will not be allowed to change / move groups. We will do our best to group abilities together.
· Coaches/committee will stagger entry/exit from/to the snow in groups. Please leave the centre ASAP and change in the car. You may exit via the main stairs only.
